Please be aware that there are some parts of this course that will highlight things that YOUR EGO might want to keep under the carpet. We have consciously decided to use a provocative tone to challenge your relationship with your ego.
So, before starting to read this course, please have a serious discussion with your ego to make clear who is going to decide about your health.
We do not expect you to agree with all the contents of this course, but if you get uptight or offended by anything written here, there is a strong chance that your ego is talking. It is part of this course to make you aware of your nasty little friend who keeps you from enjoying life to the fullest!
Here is an example to show you how your sweet little enemy operates:
Let's say that a friend of yours insults you straight out and tells you that you are an idiot.
A. If the statement is untrue, you have 2 options:
B. If the statement is true, you also have 2 options:
Real insults like this are rare. Instead, most of the time, your ego will take some comments as insults even though it is well-meant from somebody who tries to help you. Somebody who wants to make you aware of something that you could improve in order to feel better.
At the end of every lesson, we will make you aware of situations where your ego tends to want to control you and put obstacles on your road to health. The more you train yourself to recognise these situations and just laugh at yourself and the irony of these situations, the healthier you will feel.
Every time you catch your ego and don't let him have its say, you will grow stronger and healthier. Throughout this course, Healfi will provide you with various insights and ideas that will make it easier for you to defeat your ego in the battle of health.
Another thing that is critical to understand is that health is your OWN RESPONSIBILITY, so it is absolutely useless to come and whine if you follow advice that does not work from your doctor, specialist, friends, and yes, even Healfi.
Only you can know what is best for you. Listen to advice, but take your own decisions. What works for your neighbour or your dog will not necessarily work for you.
